Crusaders

Staff 3 vs Parents 4

(after extra, extra time)

End of season staff vs parents match

hailed a great success

Staff Manager, Charlie Birch questioned the considerable additional time added on by the referee but conceded that the Parents deserved their win after 80% possession.

Parents Player Manager, Craig Williamson was satisfied that his makeshift team would go on to greater things.

Mark Birch who scored two for the Staff said;

"I am gutted; now I know how the Ghana team felt after being Uruguayed.  There has to be a case for goal line technology"

WE DID IT!

"We all live in a yellow submarine, we didn't like the colour so we painted it green, we didn't like the colour so we painted it blue, we're the Crusaders and we're coming after you; for your sponsorship money!"

Over 2,000 miles worth of determination and Batman and Robin, helped us cycle along Hadrians Wall.  We might be a bit sore and tired but we're the Crusaders and we did it and had fun too.

A big thank you to all those who helped make it happen and especially Asda for the fluids and energy.

Remember;

"Tuck in!", "Car!", "Bus!", Truck!",

"Stop, Daniel's attached!",

"Slow down!"

"Is that man on the motorbike following us Daddy?"

"I could have done today, but not yesterday!",

"Did you ask if you could use our car park?"

"Which way now Mark!"

Happy birthday Kim!
